Every week students find a new quote written on the board and on our Facebook page. Its meaning and metaphoric message are discussed in the class. The quote remains on the board for a week in order for students to view and reflect on it (along with the newly acquired vocabulary).
With this simple learning tool, students enhance their vocabulary while developing their ideas on daily matters and sayings. The best part is that students do not regard this activity as part of the lesson and they learn without realising it!
